Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to examine the principles, roles and basic concepts of child health nursing in primary, secondary and tertiary health care services, to discuss nursing approaches to common child health problems and solutions, and to develop a holistic understanding in the student in line with this information.

Child health in the world and in Turkey, health system in Turkey, factors affecting child health, maternal and child health nursing, quality assurance in nursing services, philosophy of maternal and child health nursing, legal and ethical aspects of maternal and child health nursing, primary nursing, family-centred care, family, family life periods, duties of the nurse for the family.
