Objectives of the Course
The aim of the course is to help students understand the basic philosophy of nursing and the role of a nurse in health care system and gain knowledge and skills about basic theory, concept, principal and methods of nursing care. Students are expected to gain knowledge, skills and practices of basics of nursing.

Course Contents
General individual, family and community health; the concept of care in nursing; the stages and features of human life span and knowledge of the importance of the initiatives and education of nursing that is needed during these stages; protection and development of the human health; identification of the psychological, social and mental problems and care needs of an individual and examining the concepts and subjects that help in a systematic and an integrated way.
