Objectives of the Course
With this course candidate is inrended to know the main features, structures and origined theories and principles of the mathematics curriculum; to have the knowledge and solutions the current approach to teaching mathematics lesson practice, discussion and evidence based approach.

4Critically evaluate scientific studies in mathematic education that have been made in our country and the world.
5Evaluate and comparison in critically the effective learning-teaching-assessment approaches stipulated by the current approach with envisaged in math class with teacher guides and student workbooks books teaching and assessment structures.
6The comparison current approach related to assessment and evaluation the higher order thinking skills and existing practices in schools
7Evaluation PISA and TIMMS exam in terms of measurement and evaluation approaches.
8Evaluation the maths teaching in our country in terms of PISA and TIMMS test report
9Determine whether the problems in mathematics education based on scientific studies carried out in our country happened.
10Determine the experienced problem of teaching mathematics based on the realized scientific research in Turkey.
