Energy and power needs of networks, alternative power resources - Comparison of the conventional and non-conventional energy resources according to different criteria - Their advantages and disadvantages - Principles of hydroelectric power plants - Types and elements of hydropower plants and their principles – Defining unit costs in power generation systems, benchmarking with world applications and benefit and cost analysis.
