1) classification and nomenclature of aliphatic and aromatic heterocyclic compounds 2) Synthesis and activities of Aromatic heterocyclic compounds 3) Pyrydines 4) Ouinolines, isoqoinolines 5) Pyrylium and benzopyrylium ions, piron and benzopirons 6) Diazine ,pyrydazine, pyrymidine and pyrydazine 7) The activities and reactions of two nitrogen-containing heterocyclic compounds 8) Activities of Pyrroles, tiophens and furanes 9) Midterm exam 10) Synthesis of of Pyrroles, tiophens and furanes 11) Activities of 1,3- and 1,2-azoles 12) Nitration, Sulfonation and Halogenation of Heterocyclic compounds 13) Reactions of five membered heterocyclic compounds 14) Synthesis of six membered heterocyclic compounds 15)Acid-base Properties of heterocyclic compounds 16) Final Exam
