Objectives of the Course
• The aim of the course is to compare the different harmonic styles • to teach how to compare the harmonic systems which belong to the different music styles • to equip students with the knowledge and skils of harmony • to develop the ability of the students about classical harmony • To give students the opportunity to learn the other harmonic systems • To enable students develop their knowledge about counterpoint • To allow students become proficient in both classical and modern harmonic systems • To give the students basic information about classical harmony • To provide the basic knowledge about the other harmonic systems • To introduce the students with jazz and fourth harmonic system
