Early Modern Ottoman Empire around the Mediterranean and the struggle for existence and sovereignty, states that were active in this region and relations with these states in the region and the strategic importance of location, sea and land struggles of the Ottomans, devletlerlerarası commercial, political, and diplomatic relations, civilization transferring to have knowledge. |

Mediterranean policy of the Ottoman Empire and the region's relations with other political forces, the position between east and west of the Mediterranean as an area of a civilization, the place and importance of the relations between civilizations, significant events in naval, commercial, military, political relations and developments are discussed.
