Objectives of the Course
• to teach Mendelian genetics and its results in plant breeding • to give the students information about chromosomes, gene and DNA structures and functions • to give the students basic information about linkage and recombination • to provide information on gene and chromosome mutations • to equip students with the knowledge of quantitative and populations genetics
