• to teach reproduction systems and pollination biology of major field crops • to give the students information about general principles of hybrid breeding • to equip students with the knowledge and skills of hybridization

1Önemli tarla bitkilerinin çiçek yapıları, üreme sistemleri ve döllenme biyolojilerini öğrenir
2Melezleme ıslahının genel prensiplerini, kastrasyon ve melezleme tekniklerinin temelini kavrar, bu bilgileri uygulama becerisi kazanır
3Melezleme ıslahında uygulanan seleksiyon yöntemleri, melez kayıt sistemi ve hibrit tohum üretimi konusunda yeterli bilgi düzeyine ulaşır
