The aim of the course to give information about providing practice of scientific foundations with taxonomic studies.while teaching Taxonomy and systematic status of fish living in marine and fresh waters of our country.

Course Contents
Course includes basic information such as general biological and ecological, morphological characteristics, anatomy also habitats of fish, sea and fresh water charecteristic, Turkey's main rivers, lakes and ponds, seas, fish diets, introduction to systematic studies, collecting samples,identification of samples, identify keys of fish species, classification of marine and fresh waters fish of Turkey, Taxonomic review: Examination of team, family, genus, species and subspecies; examination of economically important some species
