Objectives of the Course
In this lecture, It’ll be aimed to teach some cytogenetical and karyological basic techniques for determining structural and numerical evolutions on fish chromosome where located in the cell nucleus and made the genome, as well as basic information about the structure and function of chromosomes

1Learn the theoretical and practical knowledge about fish chromosomes
2Perform cytotaxonomically studies on aquatic organisms such as fish.
3Detect chromosome and remove karyotype as a helpful technique in being distinguished of fish and other species in systematic and taxonomic studies

Course Contents
In this lecture, It’ll be contented in which general information about the cell and chromosome, laboratory practices in studies of fish chromosomes, number and structure of fish chromosome, tissues of fishes and useful some practical treatments on determining of fish chromosomes, slide preparations, basically staining and searching chromosome sites on preparation for microscopy.

9Beginning of in vivo methods in cytogenetic studies : Mitotic inhibitors and their applications
10Removal tissue specimens: Hypotonic treatments and fixation procedures used respectively
11The slide preparation techniques used in spreading chromosomes on slides
12Traditional staining and other applications of chromosome preparations
13Microscopic explorations used on identifying applications of chromosomal sites
14Digital Microphotography and image analysis on chromosome counting and measuring length and their applications.
15Karyotyping, arranging of the ideographs, chromosome number graphics, for etc. and assessment of findings
