Objectives of the Course
The aim of the course is to teach the biology and cultivation techniques of cultivated species belong to family salmonidae and teach their diseases, nutrition, and environmental requirements

Course Contents
In the salmonid farming course program, especially there’re taxonomy, biology and anatomy of salmonid species and reproductive biology of the cultivated species, broodstock supplies, egg production, culture of wild species, smolt production and culture techniques in freshwater and marine cages.

5Pre-juvenile and juvenile growth systems, first feeding, stocking density
6Feed requests and dry mixed feed characteristics of salmonids ,and their feeding
7Smolt production: in tanks, ponds and net cages

9Grow out and Stock Management: Fattening in net cages and off-shore net cages in sea
10Works of Breeding Period: Preparations for the autumn such as fish transport, handling, and vaccination operations
11Growth parameters of salmonids (specific growth rate, feed conversion rates and length classification) and struggle methods of their diseases
12Harvesting techniques, processing and marketing of salmonids
