Objectives of the Course
The study of the basic tissue types and the organs and organ systems that they form. The aim of the course is to give information about embryology of different animal groups.

Course Contents
Tissue types, Epithelial tissue, cell adhesions, surface specifications (microvillus, cilia), Connective tissue (tissue liquid, ECM, basal lamina), adipose tissue , Blood, Cartilage tissue ,Bone tissue , Nerve Tissue. History of animal embryology, oogenesis, spermatogenesis, morphology of sperm and ovum, types of ovum, segmentation and gastrulation, morphogenesis, determination, regions of induction and organizer, fertilization, formation of mesoderm and celom, embryonic development in different animals.
