Objectives of the Course
This course is to consider ethical sensitivity while giving care, to understand importance of ethical principles and values of the nursing, to learn the concept related ethics and to enable ethical decision making compatible with the patient rights and to take responsibility for decisions.

Definition of the ethic and moral concepts and ethical principles, the historical development of ethics and deontology, important of the ethic in health services and nursing, Ethical Codes in Nursing, values, ethical sensitivity and patients' rights, ethical theory and approaches, ways of knowing in nursing-ethical knowing, moral development ve ethical decision-making, ethical decision-making models guidance, ethical dilemmas and nursing approaches, ethics committees, ethics in nursing researches, case examples and nursing approaches, case discussion, group works.
