Objectives of the Course

The aim of the course is • to teach basic philosophy of nursing • to teach the role of the nurse in the health care system • to teach the role of the student nurses in the health care system • to gain the knowledge and skills to students about nursing services, the basic theories, concepts, principles of nursing.

1	Know the basic theories, concepts, principles and methods in nursing care.
2	They can evaluate respiratory functions and make the necessary nursing interventions.
3	They can evaluate the excretory functions and make the necessary nursing interventions.
4	Evaluate digestive functions and make the necessary nursing interventions
5	Evaluate the bed-dependent patient, they can give the necessary nursing care.
6	They can identify the psychosocial needs of the patient
