Course Contents |
The concept of ilmi usul al- hadith (the methodology of the hadith), origins of the usul al-hadith, concepts of the hadith and the sunnah, isnad (chains of the
transmitters) and matn (text), religious significance of the hadith and sunnah, transmission of the hadith, narrator, criticism of transmission and types of hadith. |
