Learning Outcomes
1To learn the appearance and reflections of Islamic belief and thought in Turkish literature after the Turks became Muslims.
2To recognize the first Muslim Turkish literary works. To have information about the appearance of Turkish-Islamic Literature in Anatolia.
3To be able to analyze poems on samples from the poems of Muslim Turkish poets.
4To be able to distinguish the religious content in literary works

Course Contents
The first literary works produced by Muslim Turks and the first literary works with religious content. The first representatives of Divan and Folk Literature in Anatolia and the first writers who brought these movements to a religious identity. Poets and examples of their religious works in the Ottoman period. Religious genres and examples in our Divan and Folk Literature.
