To comprehend the place and importance of the Prophet in history and to acquire a basic knowledge about the studies of Siyer.

Learning Outcomes
1To be able to comprehend the place and importance of pre-Islamic Arab history in the field of Siyer
2Being able to recognize the environment and conditions that occurred in and around Mecca in the period before the Prophet's prophethood
3To be able to explain the reasons for the opposition of the polytheists against the message of the Prophet
4To be able to compare the activities carried out by the Prophet in order to spread his prophethood and its practices in this regard
5Be able to analyze new developments within the framework of the Prophet's relations with Medina before the Hijra
6Understanding the Ansar-Muhajir brotherhood and its results after the Hijra and taking them as an example in the relations between people today
7To be able to draw similarities between the policy followed by the Prophet in his struggle with the Meccan polytheists, the Jews and the Hypocrites.
8To be able to produce ideas about the results of the preaching activities of the Prophet in the Arabian Peninsula.
9Being able to produce ideas about these views that are reflected to the present day, based on the universal messages expressed by the Prophet from his Farewell Sermon.
10To be able to criticize contemporary approaches about the period of the Prophet with scientific methods
