Objectives of the Course
The objective of the course is to help the students understand contemporary art and give tham the ability to establish form-content relation in art creations within the context of politics, culture and life.

Course Contents
The plastic art language, works and artists of modern art movements from the beginning of 19th century to the first half of 20th century. . Romantism, Naturalism, Realism, Impressionism, Post-Impressionism, Symbolism, Fauvism, Expressionism, Cubism, Futurism, Dada, De Stijl, Suprematism, Bauhaus, Constructivism, Surrealism, Metaphysical Art, Paris School. . Reasons for the fundamental change in art in the modernist process. . The avant-garde theory. . Reasons for the difference of approach to basic concepts of art (composition, colour, stain, form-content, etc.) in art movements. . Different forms in which cultural changes between societies reflect to art.
