Preparing a file in which each phase of script writing based on traditional structure of drama is carried out.

What is Film Dramaturgy? Structure and Elements of a Script.

1Art of Film in the perspective of World Art History. What is Film Dramaturgy? Problems of Film Dramaturgy. Elements of Film Dramaturgy.
2The concepts of story, storytelling and fiction.
3The elements and characteristics of traditional structure of drama.
4The concept of conflict, types of conflict, creating conflict.
5The concept of character, three aspects of character, creating characters.
6Steps of screenwriting: synopsis, treatment, step outline, script, shooting script. Studying on synopsis which the students have written.
7Analysis of the films on concepts of character and conflict. Studying on treatments which the students have written.
8Scene, scene structure, functions of the scenes,scene connections, desinning scnenes, establishing film structure, writing the step outline.
9Studying on step outlines which the students have written.
10Midterm: Synopsis, treatment, characters, step outline.
11Studying on students' works.
12Vocabulary - Arts
13Studying on students' works. Techniques of shooting script.
14Studying on scripts which the students have written. Designing of nonfiction tv programs
15Summary. General evaluation of practices.
