Objectives of the Course
To teach the study of English grammar, the relationship between language and culture, sounds and sound harmony, nouns, adjectives etc.grammer rules, spelling and spelling mistakes, punctuation marks, abbreviations, the study of word structure and the dictionary, types of literary writing, writing of book reviews, travel writing and creative writing.

Definition of language, its feature, language and cognition, language and society, language and culture, language families, languages by structure and resources, place of Turkish among other languages, phonetic features of Turkish, and phonological rules, inflection in Turkish, Turkish word categories, rules of spelling, formation about composition, elements of a sentence and sample analyses.
