Objectives of the Course
This course aims students to get knowledge and abilities on both practice and theory of curriculum elements, models, sociological and philosophical basics of the curriculum, evaluation process and evaluation models. This course aims students to evaluate samples in Turkey and abroad critically.

Course Contents
Curriculum development process, curriculum design and curriculum elements, problems of curriculum development and ways of solving these problems are the basics of the course. Evaluation theories, evaluation process and evaluation practices are taught in this course. Studying on relationship between curriculum development and evaluation, need for evaluation, evaluation theories, curriculum evaluation models, problems in curriculum evaluation and some samples of evaluation of the curriculum in Turkey and all over the world.
