Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to introduce the interrelationship of making, exhibiting, interpreting and teaching art in the context of visual culture and art world.

Learning Outcomes
1It examines the social context in various forms of visual culture.
2It questions the key concepts of visual culture such as representation, gaze, attractiveness, intertextuality.
3Evaluates the ideas represented by visual images and the meanings attributed to them from an educational point of view.
4Evaluates the communicative role of visual culture and its effect on perceptions.
5Prepares a lesson plan for thinking critically about forms of visual culture, exploring issues related to diversity, and challenging social prejudices.

Course Contents
This course includes the critical analysis of visual culture, the construction of doctrinal experiences on visual culture, and the study of contemporary artists focusing on social, cultural, historical and political issues of daily life.
