| Level of Course Unit | First Cycle | Objectives of the Course | The purpose of this course is to have early childhood teacher candidates explain and assess school readiness; plan, and implement activities that prepare children for primary grades and ease the transition from early childhood programs to primary school considering differences between and within children in the developmental areas and readiness levels.
