Objectives of the Course
Enable students undetstand the historical development of children´s literature in Turkey and the world, identifying qualified children´s books, being able to determine the appropriate children´s literal books to their age groups, identifying the types and the chararteristics of children´s literature.

Course Contents
In this course, definition, aim, characteristics, the contributions to the development of child, the historical development of children´s literature in Turkey and in the world, types and the characteristics of children´s literature, and the appropriate types of literature to children´s development and age group are lectured.
