Name of Lecturer(s) |
Dr. Öğr. Üyesi Tolga AKTÜRK |
Learning Outcomes |
1 | Know the axioms of real number system. | 2 | Know basic function types and their graphs. | 3 | İnterpret the definition of limit and continuity bot algebraically and graphically, and also state their difference. | 4 | Use the concepts of limit and continuity in mathematical problem situations. | 5 | State the different interpratations of the derivative concept (rate of change, slope of the tangent line) and use derivative in optimization problems. | 6 | Relate the signs of first- and second-order derivatives of a function with the increasing/decreasing and concave downwards/concave upwards characteristics of its graph. | 7 | Construct the rational numbers and some irrational numbers on the number line with Euclidean methods. |
