Objectives of the Course
To find probability of an event with understanding of a sample space. To give an understanding of a random variable and find probability of a normal random variable by using standard normal table.

Course Contents
Basic concepts, frequency distributions. Histogram and frequency polygon. Categorical data and applications to be displayed in the chart. Parametric Measures of central tendency. Parametric distribution measurements. Skewness and kurtosis. Basic concepts of probability theory. Addition and multiplication rule, Bayes' theorem. Probability distribution table, the expected value and applications. Probability distribution table, the expected value and applications. Basic concepts of discrete and continuous probability distributions. Binomial, Poisson and hyper-geometric distribution and applied studies.
