Objectives of the Course

To teach the basic parts of linear algebra including vectors, vector spaces, linear equation systems and linear maps.

Learning Outcomes

1	Learns the operations of addition, scalar multiplication and inner product in vectors of R^n.
2	Makes applications on basic matrix operations, finds the inverses of matrices and learns the elematary row operations.
3	Investigates the solutions of linear equation systems.
4	Explains the concepts of vector space, subspace, linear independence and base, solves the related problems.
5	Learns the concept of linear map, explains the relation between linear maps and matrices

Vectors in R^2 and R^3, Matrices, Additon and scalar multiplication in matrices, Matrix product, inverses of matrices and applications, Linear equation systems, Gauss elimination method, Vector spaces, Subspaces, Linear independence, basis and dimension, Linear maps, Linear maps and matrices.
