The aim of the course is to introduce Mannerism, Baroque and Rococo art movements with examples.

Socio-cultural structure in Europe between 16-18th centuries; Mannerism and its characteristics; Factors contributing to the emergence of Baroque art; features and examples of Baroque art in Italy; Baroque in France, Germany, Spain and Northern Europe; 18th century art scene in France; Rococo style and its examples; Reformation and Enlightenment movements in Europe.
