Objectives of the Course |
This course is intended to provide an introduction to basic concepts and issues in Translation Studies and a broad-based foundation for further studies of translation. The aim of this course is to provide an overview of translation studies as a specific area of study with translation theory as a crucial component of this area. Considering the steps and various factors involved in the translation process, the course aims to come to the conclusion that translating is basically decision making. |
