Objectives of the Course
The objective of this course is to introduce the students the principles, theories and basics of linguistics, to familiarize the students with the nature of human language, to help them learn the structure of language, how humans acquire language. This course aims at introducing the components of linguistics through a detailed analysis of phonetics, phonology, language acquisition and sociolinguistics.
