• Tavır ve Üsluba yöelik icra tekniklerini öğretmek • Öğrenciyi müzik beceri ve bilgisiyle donatmak • Öğrencilerin nota okuma becerilerini geliştirmek • Öğrencilere müzikte kendilerini ifade olanağı sağlamak • Öğrencilerin çalgıyı çalma becerilerini geliştirmelerini sağlamak • Öğrencilerin nefeslerini doğru kullanmada yeterli hale gelmelerini sağlamak • Öğrencilere makam dizileri konusunda temel bilgileri vermeyi sağlamak. • Türk Sanat Müziği hakkında detaylı bilgiyi kazandırmak • Öğrencilere Ney çalan sanatçıları tanıtmak
