Course Contents
Bridge resource management, communication of ship's interior between Vessels-shore stations, marine accidents, the human factor in marine accidents, the FSA (Formal Safety Assessment), accident analysis, the concept of M-SHELL, passage planning principles, the passage planning preparation, chart applications, introduction of bridge simulation system, simulation applications and using (propulsive and resistance powers, traffic separation schemes, the canal passage, coastal navigation, navigation at restricted visibility, ocean navigation, ice navigation) and ship reporting systems. Use ECDIS and passage planning.
