| Level of Course Unit | First Cycle | Objectives of the Course | • To present the policy cycle and to assess how policy issues become identified and formulated as such and to develop the ability to analyze and where appropriate reformulate particular statements of policy problems and objectives.
• To enable students to understand and utilize key terms and concepts of public policy and to develop an understanding of the multiple facets of public policy and of the problems and possibilities inherent in the process.
• To provide students with an understanding of the multiple roles, expectations, and strategies of the various stakeholders in the public policy process and their impact on policy development, implementation, and evaluation.
• To familiarize students with a range of skills and tools for more effective implementation in complex and often turbulent environments
