Objectives of the Course

The aim of the course is • to make the students understand the importance and context of the Integration of the European Union and its social and employment policy with Turkey's compliance to the EU Policies.

2	AB ile bütünleşme perspektifinde ülkemizde ve dünyadaki gelişmeleri kavrayarak, bu alanda meydana gelen gelişmeleri ve yeni inisiyatifleri tartışabilecektir.
3	AB ve Türkiye İlişkileri alanında sosyal politika ve istihdam alanında yaşanan gelişme ve sorunların etkilerini belirleyerek, bunları analiz edebilecek ve yorum yapacak düzeye ulaşacaktır.

• The Theory of Economic Integration and Stages in the European Union; • Factor Mobility; • Custom Union, • Common Market; • Economic and Monetary Union; • The Idea of EU and Social Policy Historical Developments (Foundation of ECSC, EEC, EURATOM, EC, EU) • EU Institutions and Organs, • Social and employment Policies; EU-Turkey Relations; • Maastricht Criterias (Foreign Trade; Butget Deficit; Interest Rates; Inflation) and conformity with the Maastricht Criterias; • Historical and latest developments of the EU-Turkey Relations
