The aim of this course is to explore and clarify the main concepts and historical development process about economic development literature in economics.

The course includes evolution of development thought, the measurement of economic development and the concept of poverty, main analysis on economic development, emerge and development of dual social structures, population and human resources, domestic and foreign finance methods of economic development, relationship between agriculture and economic development, industrialisation, technology and sustainable development
