Objectives of the Course

In the course, it is handled the political situation of the Balkans and Anatolia during the foundation period of the Ottoman State and the effect of this situation on the state’s establishment. In the second phase, it is discussed the conquests on Anatolia, Balkans, Mesopotamia and Arabia by the Ottomans. In the course, the activities in the Black Sea, Aegean, and Adriatic will be discussed.

1	Genel kültür ve tarihe yardımcı bilimlerle ilgili, en güncel bilgileri içeren ders kitaplarını, uygulama araç - gereçlerini ve bilimsel kaynaklarla desteklenen üst düzey bilgi ve becerileri kullanma kabiliyetine sahiptir ve bu bilgi ve becerileri mesleğinde ve araştırmalarında kullanabilir.

4	Tarih metodolojisini kullanarak, eleştirel düşünme, yaratıcı düşünme, yorumlama ve sentez yapma becerilerine sahiptir ve alanıyla ilgili çalışmaları bağımsız veya ortak çalışma olarak yürütebilir.
5	Tarihi bilgi ve bulgu eksiklikleri nedeni ile henüz aydınlatılmamış konularda sorumluluk alır ve çözüm üretmeye çalışır.
