Objectives of the Course

To teach the medical and dental status of the patients applying for surgical treatment, diagnosis and treatment planning, instruments used in tooth extraction, appropriate anamnesis, local anesthesia, tooth extraction

Learning Outcomes

1	Obtains anamnesis about the general health condition of the patient, makes clinical and radiological dental evaluation, makes surgical diagnosis and makes treatment planning
2	Learn the tools used in tooth extraction, indications for teeth extraction and contraindications
3	Has knowledge about dental anesthesia and methods
4	Local anesthesia is applied and makes teeth extraction. Gives recommendations after shots and writes prescriptions and has information about what to do in bleeding control
5	Assists in surgical procedures, performs minor surgery, and participates in the general operation as an observer.

Medical and dental assessment, patient anamnesis, diagnosis and treatment planning, recognition of instruments used in tooth extraction, indications for teeth extraction and contraindications, application of local anesthesia, tooth extraction, prescription and post-operative recommendations, monitoring of minor surgery applications, local surgery assisting during bleeding control
