Objectives of the Course
The student must conduct all sorts of restorative treatment on all patients applying to our clinic; must learn about restorative materials used in clinical applications; must diagnose properly and plan the treatment required accordingly; must have adequate knowledge on caries risk evaluation in order to support the treatment procedure; must use minimal invasive methods; must be able to scan and criticize literature on caries/operative dentistry.

Learning Outcomes
11. Knows the causes and mechanisms of oral and dental diseases and is able to detect changes brought about by diseases in the mouth and tooth.
22. Is able to use devices and technology required by diagnosis and prognosis aimed at protecting oral and dental health.
33. Has adequate knowledge on consumable materials and medicines used in dentistry.
44. Is able to take protective measures against dental caries and periodontal diseases.
55. Is able to restore dental material losses caused by dental caries.
66. Is able to take necessary sterilization precautions against infections in patients and in him or herself and assistant personnel.
77. For urgent or complicated cases, knows how to direct the patients to better equipped health centers after evaluating the choices.
88. Knows about the oral structures and normal structure and functions of the teeth.
