Objectives of the Course
Students must get the knowledge of anatomy of the oral cavity,oropharynx upper respiratory tract and the neck . They should have the ability to diagnose the diseases of the oral cavity, oropharynx, upper respiratory tract infections, deep neck infections and plan their treatment Students must develop competence and detailed knowledge of the scientific rationale for the diagnosis and treatment of salivary gland and temporomandibular joint diseases.

Learning Outcomes
1Knows the anatomy of the oral cavity, oropharynx,upper respiratory tract and the neck
2Gets the ability to diagnose congenital , inflammatory, infectious and tumoral pathologies of the oral cavity, oropharynx,and paranasal sinuses and knows their tretment
3Gets the knowledge about the symptoms, signs and treatment of deep neck infections
4Gets the knowledge about the proper diagnosis and treatment of tumoral and nontumoral diseases of the salivary glands
5Gets the ability to diagnose temporomandibular joint disorders and can guide these patients for appropriate treatment

Anatomy of the oral cavity, upper respiratory tract, oropharynx and the neck Inflammatory and infectious diseases of the upper respiratory tract, salivary glands, oral cavity and pharynx. Tumors of the oral cavity and oropharynx. Deep neck infections. Temporomandibular joint disorders.
