Objectives of the Course
To teach clinical diagnosis, phase I periodontal therapy, risk assessment, prognosis, the treatment plan, advanced diagnostic techniques, periodontal treatment of medically compromised patients, treatment of periodontitis, acute gingival diseases, treatment of periodontal abscess, plaque control, chemotherapeutic agents, mobility and its treatment, Orthodontic- Periodontic relations, Endodontic- Periodontic relations, general principles of periodontal surgery, gingival curettage, treatment of gingival enlargement and gingivectomy, periodontal flap, periodontal plastic surgery, regeneration, bone surgery and furcation defects, recent advances in periodontal surgery, results of periodontal treatment, supportive periodontal treatment, implant surgery.
