Objectives of the Course
The aim of the course is to examine the musculoskeletal system, osteoporosis, painful diseases of the degenerative and soft tissues of the peripheral joints and spine, chronic inflammatory autoimmune diseases and autoinflammatory diseases, the etiopathogenesis of the developmental diseases of the brain such as cerebral palsy, its clinic, to teach the diagnosis and basic treatment methods and head trauma. To give information about the disability, complications and their rehabilitation and other treatment approaches resulting from spinal cord injuries.

Learning Outcomes
1Classify osteoarthritis and its differential diagnosis.
2Learn approach to evaluate the congenital, traumatic, inflammatory and neoplastic problems of hand.
3Define and evaluate sports injuries
4Define and evaluate the developmental dysplasia of the hip.
5Students may be able to classify physical examination, diagnostic methods and medical tretmnet of neuromuscular, rheumatic and bone metabolism diseases.
6Students may be able to define physical treatment modalities and rehabilitation principles to treat those diseases.

There is practice in every internship group and participation is obligatory.
Course Contents
Musculoskeletal examination, osteoporosis, painful diseases of the degenerative and soft tissue of the peripheral joints and spine, chronic inflammatory autoimmune diseases and autoinflammatory diseases, developmental diseases of the brain such as cerebral palsy, disability, complications resulting from head trauma and spinal cord injuries, and their rehabilitation and other treatment approaches
