Course Contents
Legislative, cultural, physical, mechanical, biological and chemical control methods used against plant pathogens, integrated disease management, early warning of plant diseases, classification of fungicides, formulation types, modes of action of fungicides, application procedures, effects of fungicides on human health and environment. Chemical weed control, calibration, classification of herbicides, mechanism of action, physiology, and chemicals use strategies.

12Fungicide application methods, preparation of fungicide mixtures, calibration
13Physical control; use of low and high temperatures and irradiation
14What should be done during and after fungicide applications. Stages of a new fungicide active ingredient during registration. Modes of action of fungicides. Protectant fungicides, advantages and disadvantages
