Objectives of the Course
The aim of the course is • To teach general principles of systematic, insects in systematic, • To teach basic principles of insect classification, • To teach recognition and diagnosis of insect orders and families from the taxonomic respect

Learning Outcomes
1To have the knowledge and skills of basic concepts related to plant protection and gained occupational and ethical responsibility
2Effectively be able to access theoretical information relevant to plant protection and perform oral and written presentations using the information technologies
3Effectively be able to collect data necessary for solving problem related to pest, pathogens and weeds and decide and apply appropriate management of strategies
4Effectively be able to decide the necessity of using pesticides for controlling plant protection problems and determine and prescribe the appropriate pesticides
5To have knowledge about and awareness of control method to use in pest management for protection and sustainable use of natural resources.
6Able to use initiative in identification of problems, decision making and resolving problems in occupational subjects.
7Effectively be able to comprehend local, national and international significance of own occupation and develop attitude.
8Receive responsibilities as an individula and a team member in the occupational subjects
