Objectives of the Course
The aim of this lesson is preparing the students of Faculty of Agriculture for the higher classes. Basic consepts of plant structuure and functions are teaching the students in this lesson. The main data of plant macro and micro morphology, physiology and genetics are occuring the basic consepts of this lesson.

1 Introduction: World of living consept.Meaning and importance of science of botany: Properties of living things as objects of living science biology, chemical content, structure and energy traffic (metabolism), growth and differentiation,multiplication, adaptation, regeneration, motion, mutation and natural selection], Occurence of life in the world and related theories. 2 Classification of living world, Branches of botany science, Plants and important subjects 3 Cell wall and gates 4 Classification of plants and nomenclature: cell consept and structure of plant cell: Identification and investigation of plant cell structure [plant cell wall, structure and function of cytoplasm (cytosol, ER, golgi). 5 organelles of cell (mitocondria, plastids, peroxisome), Cytoskleton, Structure and function of nucleus and chromosomes, Vacuole and function, cell fission –Mitosis 6 organelles of cell (mitocondria, plastids, peroxisome), Cytoskleton, Structure and function of nucleus and chromosomes, Vacuole and function, cell fission –Mitosis 7 Plant organs and reproduction: Leaf morphology and anatomy, Reproduction in plants (sexual ans asexual reproduction, mechanism of meiosis fission and importance, life cycle with samples in plant world 8 Midterm exam 9 Secretory tissue (glandular hairs and glands),Absorption tissue, Vascular tissue structure and types(phloem and xylem elements). 10 Plant Organs: Root and shoot morphology and anatomy (tissue diferences of monocothyl and dicothyl 11 Structural properties of reproduction organs in higher (flowerly) plants: structure and properties of flower, fruit and seed 12 Functioning of plant structures(Introduction to Plant Physiology): Composition of mineral elements of plants and function of mineral elements in plants. 13 Mechanisms of taken and tranporting of water and mineral elements in plants, Transpiration: Diffision, osmosis and swelling events in water taken in cell level 14 Plant of fruit, seed, leaf 15 Energytic events in plants: Phosynthesis 16 Final Exam
