• Propagation techniques and strategies • Morphologic and biological properties of propagation techniques • Problems and solutions of nursery production • Generative and vegetative propagation • Seedlings growing and techniques • Generative and vegetative propagation of vine • Selection of branches from vine using in propagation • Propagation of vine using cutting, stimulative applications of rooting • Propagation of vine with graft • Nursery production techniques in vine • Grafting techniques in vine

1General properties of fruit trees. Propagation techniques of fruit nursery-trees. Generative propagation and its properties. Seed structure and development of seed. Seed stratification and germination
2Factors effected of germination and techniques of propagation by seeds. Vegetative propagation and its properties. Propagation by cutting, types of cuttings.
3Using of rooting co-factors, rooting mediums, and structures. Propagation with grafting. And techniques of grafting.
4Times of grafting and grafting methods. Factors affecting success in budding and grafting; incompatibility, grafting techniques, plant species, environment conditions, pest and diseases.
5Propagation by layering and sucker
6Production of nursery trees, preparing the soil. Rootstock cultivation. Production of seed rootstock and clone rootstock.
7Grafting of rootstocks and care of nursery trees, digging and packing of nursery plant. Sertification of nursery propagation.
8Midterm Exam
9Generative and vegetative propagation techniques in vegetables. Vegetative propagation (graft, cuttings, rhizome, tissue culture etc.,)
10Seed, propagation with seed , seed quality characteristics. Seed germination.
11Seed storage, time of seed sowing, seed coating techniques and fluid and banded drilling techniques. The aim of seedlings growing and techniques, seedling growing media, preparing growing media, grafted seedling techniques
12Planting of seedlings and seedling quality. Propagation methods in viticulture. Rootstocks in viticulture, selection of vines and scions taken propagation materials.
