Objectives of the Course

The purpose of this course, to teach students the basic principles of plant nutrition and fertilization, uptake of nutrient metabolism, factors and events affecting the availability of nutrients, fertilizer and fertilization methods.

Essential nutrient elements, importance of nutrient elements, importance of fertilizer and fertilization, Classification of organic and chemical fertilizers, fertilizer application methods.
