Objectives of the Course
The aim of the course is • to teach cotton, flax and hemp plants • to give students the opportunity to theoric and analytic knowledge • to give the students basic information about plants and farming • to provide the basic knowledge about product processing and trade.

• Description and classification of fiber plants • Economic importance, systematics, morphology, physiology and production practices (soil preparation, planting, harvest, cotton gin) • Basic breeding methods of major fiber plants such as cotton, linen and hemp.
