Objectives of the Course
To give information about abiotic and biotic factors that cause disease in plants, their symptomology, infection mechanisms, epidemiology and control methods of the diseases.

Course Contents
Causes of diseases in plants, disease symptoms, factors that play a role in disease formation, defense mechanism of plants, taxonomy and characteristics of fungi, virüs and bacteria that cause disease in plants. Weeds that cause damage to cultivated crops and their damages. Control methods of plant diseases and weeds.
