Objectives of the Course
These derste students will share various definitions, historical development and changing functions of the concept of museology as an academic discipline, practice experiments. In addition, information about the preservation law of the Ancient Works will be given.

Course Contents
Basic concepts related to museology will be taught to students in the course. Considering the historical development process, understanding of contemporary museology, museology in Turkey and in the world; different museum types; purpose and function of the museum; management of museums and so on. information will be transferred. Various museum examples from the world and Turkey will be evaluated as comparative, and trips to Ordu and other nearby museums will be organized. Information about the old artifacts will be given about the Law No. 2863, old works will be vaccinated.
